ok so my contract for verizon is up and i'm planning on getting a PDA. The the cheapest PDA and messaging plan is a ridiculous 100 bucks and thats the lowest at 450 minutes. So im thinking of going to Sprint which is cheaper but I'm so glued to veriozn and i don't know anything about sprint is service ANY good? especially in South FL/central FL.So i need the pros and cons of each company and the low down on sprint.
Sprint is great. It has the fast EVDO network which is almost as fast as my home wireless network. Check with the web site for Sprint to see what coverage is for the areas you will be using your Phone in. I'm over here in CA and I do fine in all urban areas but sometimes have rough coverage when driving the I5. I know that sprint has pleanty of
Sorry- message posted before I finished. Was saying that I know Sprint had bandwidth to spare as it is having trouble keeping customers. Also they built their network for bandwidth. I've never had any problems with them and I've been with them for three years now. I must say that I think that their customer service is getting better especially if you are firm but friendly when you ask for something. Never be afraid to ask for a supervisor.
Finally- their data plans are cheaper than the other guys.
I'm hearing that Sprint is losing alot of customers due to their bad customer service. I don't belive Sprint is very good. Verizon is pretty reliable as far as phone service goes but you will pay for the quality.
I thinkt the main reason why the customer care was soooo bad was that they were supporting two back end systems. Now that they migrated to one, so my sprint rep says, it seems to be getting much better.. remember, it was not that long ago ATT had horrible customer service too. (cingular bought att wireless and had to support 2 billing systems for awhile)
I had Sprint for about 7 years and then changed to Verizon because through work I got a 12% discount. The sad part is that I paid more with Verizon even with the 12% discount than I paid with Sprint and the service was the same. I switched back to Sprint a couple weeks ago and got the Simply Everything Plan with 450 minutes for $69.99. That includes unlimited BlackBerry services, text, email, web, navigation, Sprint TV & Music. I did have some issues with Sprint customer service, but I went back to the store where I purchased the phone and they dealt with customer service so I wouldn’t have to. They gave me a free car charger and removed the $30 activation fee as well.
I currently have sprint in swfla.... the coverage isn't that great east of 75. Sprint is getting some pretty awesome smartphones w/in the next few months. And their plans seem great. But I find I will benefit better with Alltel or verizon due to coverage east of 75. I'm still on the fence on that one. Alltel phones are not the latest and greatest and verizon appears to disable stuff that the phones can do... and their plans are costly. Alltel's plans are cost efficent as well as they don't alter the phones and it seems like the coverage is comparable to Verizon.
This is my post i do not know why it came up as someone else so weird.BUT yeah sprint is kind of calling me since the HTC diamond is coming out next month BUT I'm still thinking about just forgetting the PDA thing all together and just get a gylde which would allow me to stay with VZ since i wouldn't have to get the PDA plan.I really do want a PDA though but if i do get one it would be with spirnt not shelling out a 100 a month on a PDA cell bill with VZ i'm just 17.Sprint service map looked really morbid though and that is a major problem since i do like to travel domestically and around FL.
is my name coming up as nipepe ***?
