Is it possible to have two numbers on the same cell phone? A friend had two numbers, but I think one number may have rolled to the other. Thanks
You can have a phone call and forward the number to another phone, thus you now have two or even more numbers going to the same phone.
Understand that concept, but is it possible to have two cell numbers on the same phone, i.e. work and personal number? Thanks.
Which carrier do you use? Most carriers do not allow 2 phone #'s on the same device. If you are using an analog phone it might be possible.
Using US Cellular in NC.
Nearly all of US Cellular's handsets will support two or more numbers. However, you will need call forwarding set up and most users only need (and have) one phone number set. You can only call from one number at any given time, however- it works similar to a multiline home phone.
There are two line cell phones. Generaly made for people who work for companies which pay for work related calls but not personal.
It shows up on "My Phone Number" I'm only using one. but it has places for 4.
Sorry, Cingular no longer supports 2 phone #'s on one handset even though it mighht seem to be possible when reading the manual. The SIM card can only hold one phone #, only possibility is to swap SIM cards with different mobile #'s.
There is no way to store multiple cell phone #'s on the same SIM card. Can't be done. Not the same as storing phone numbers (address book) on the SIM.
Have a look on Ebay, my boyfriend was trying to do similar.
He found that you either had to trim one card and slot it onto a different sim card so it alternated between the cards (works for some sims but not others - bit risky!)
Or there was another device on there that did this, although you could only answer one number at a time - you had to switch between the numbers.
