Social Computing company BEA purchased by Oracle
by chrisemcleod - 4/29/08 8:55 AMOracle submitted a press release today (http://www.oracle.com/corporate/press/2008_apr/bea-closes-rls.html) stating their acquisition of BEA Systems which has as one of its products: "Enterprise Social Computing: Web 2.0 tools for the enterprise" (http://www.bea.com/framework.jsp?CNT=index.jsp&FP=/content/solutions/social_computing).
Could this be Oracle's enterprise-answer to LinkedIn?
