T-Mobile internet plan performance

by trknjr - 12/29/05 4:28 AM In reply to: T-mobile internet card by bob44

Bob I am an over the road trucker that needed coverage country wide. Compared all plans went with TMobile for best price of all unlimited data plans. Great coverage, unlimited usage, no roaming charges if used within US. No hardware/software conflicts with connection manager..easy configuration. Had to call customer service and tech support on one issue...quickly fixed. Would like more speed but ok for now...speed is coming with EDGE and new GC89 card...

Internet cards rock.

by phatspeed7x - 4/27/08 10:27 PM In reply to: T-mobile internet card by bob44

I just signed up for AT&T data connect plan for laptops. I'm using a Serria wireless 881 air card, and have a 5GB plan for $60 a month. I live in northern mn where I don't have a land line at my house. AT&T had data coverage in my area so I decided to give them a try. Now only being a 2G network in northern MN I'm getting connection speeds ranging from 250kbps at my house, to 490kbps in town (Grand Rapids MN). I can access all my favorite sites, check e-mail, chat with you guys, as long as I have a signal.
