Connecting my Laptop (VGA output only) to my TV (CRT HD)

by KarimFadl88 - 4/24/08 9:45 PM

I have the Sony VAIO laptop (SZ-230P/B)and I have a Sony HD CRT-TV (KV-30HS510). My laptop only has a VGA output and my TV has DVI-D input a Component (red green and blue video cables) input, and the other standard inputs. I was wondering how can I connect my laptop to my TV? I tried using a VGA to Component cable but for some odd reason it didn't work. Any advice will be very much appreciated.

Thank You
