I recently started a blog, and after a few days was surprised that it had 4000 hits on the hit counter, since I don't think many people are reading it. How many of those are probably from crawler bots like those from Google and how many are actual people?
I suggest you histats.com blog counter. I used it on my <a href="http://www.burnfatforhealth.com">weight loss</a> blog and quite satisfied.
excuse me.

Hi,
I'm new to blogging and have a blog on blogsdpot.com but can't figure out where to paste the code from the various hit counters. Can you help?
Thanks,
Zipwin
go to settings; click the layout tab. then click on the edit HTML tab and scroll down until you see your code window. At the very bottom of all that code, (make a space below so you can see it better) do a copy and paste of the entire code you've been given by your stat program. Dont leave anything out. If there is a preview button, click on it to see if it works.
If you have trouble, the best help is right from the stat people, they are usually excellent at this.
