sync'ing video on recorded BOL (ustream)

by kikeda - 4/22/08 5:04 PM

Hey All:

I was trying to watch the BOL stream on Ustream, the recorded version. The live show starts at 7am here in Hawaii and I leave for work around that time. So I tried watching the recorded feeds and I had a heck of a time trying to get everything sync'ed. Is there an easy way to do this? otherwise it looks like an old Black Belt Theater movie with lips moving and voices all over the place...

thanks...

A couple of options;

1. Turn off all other apps while loading/playing the video.
2. Load the whole thing, then play.
3. To re-align video and sound, click at a point further ahead: when playing it will continue to lose sync but if you select a new point it will start video and audio simultaneously.

oops, clarification...

Sorry.. I guess I wasn't as clear as I wanted to be. I meant that I wanted to get all three video feeds (Molly, Jason, and Tom) sync'd. If I play all three at the same time, they are not sync'd because (I assume) they start recording their feeds at slightly different times. Gotta have them use one of those movie clack board thingies so I can have all three at the same starting point.

(NT) Just listen to one. Like the alert box suggests.

If I'm reading him right...

He doesn't want to "listen" to all three simultaneously. He wants to listen to ONE and have the others (including the one) with audio in sync with video.

And..

and with all three in Video sync with each other.

The only way this would work reliably is if they used some kind of "timecode" when recording.

Slikkster is right. I do want to listen to one and watch all three in sync. I have had to do the manual fix. I listen to one until I hear them start the "official" show, then pause, then do the same for the other feeds. Kind of a bummer since I tried it at work and then tried to pause all three windows when someone called and then the feeds were out of sync again. Ahh well. such is life...I still think it would be hilarious if they decide each day to hold up the same piece of freebie at the same time (like mager did the other day). then I could sync on it.
