This topic comes up periodically. I wear glasses. Headsets that hook over the ear tend not to play well with the frame of my glasses. Since stores don't have demo versions for me to try a headset real quick, I have to ask you all for any recommendations for bluetooth headsets (just for talking) that co exist well with glasses.
Thanks,
I just purchased the Samsung WEP200 and it doesnt need to hook over the ear. Instead it goes into your ear like an earbud would. I also wear glasses and that was the reason for purchase.
I also wear glasses and have found that the only available bluetooth headset that even fits me is the Jabra BT2020 or similar shaped models. This is because of the shape and size of exterior and interior of my ears. I do find that I have to remove my glasses first to make it easier to put the headset on, but no amount of shaking my head (even to the point of hurting) or jumping up and down would cause the headset to fall off. This headset is the second JABRA headset that I have used for the same reason.
No other style of headset that I have tried will either fit my ears properly or stay on for more than a few seconds as they almost always fall off or become dislodged from the ear canal as soon as I move my head. This headset comes with three different sizes of moulded earpiece for better fit. Even though there are three different sizes of earpiece I cannot wear the headset comfortably for more than about 2 hours because of MY ear canal size. Battery life is excellent, call quality very good, and very cheap in the UK.
I ended up purchasing the Blue Ant headset -- it works great with glasses.
