My digital answering machine died. Before I replace it I wondered if there is a program to use where my PC would answer my home phone and record voice messages. I currently run Microsoft Office 2000 with XP.
We use our cell phones for most all calls, but some companies/ dr appt reminders and such will still call the home number. We use Quest dsl for online.
And many of the Voice Modems come with said program.
I'd look into a VoIP solution...its cheaper, and does all kinds of great stuff with your computer, not just voice mail.
