Intermittent loss of wireless connection
by bripow14 - 3/26/08 1:37 PMI have a Toshiba Laptop with an Atheros AR5006EG wireless network adapter. When at home, I have intermittent connectivity loss to my wireless network. I always blamed the Linksys Router. Recently my wife started working from home and she never loses the connection with her laptop to our wireless network.
I now have AT&T wireless access through a network card for when I am not at home, and I lose connectivity about every 45 minutes or so with that as well. And it seems if I am connected to the web via a Wi-Fi network I lose connectivity occasionally as well.
I am thinking there is something going on with my computer causing this problem but have no idea where to start.
Please help !
Power Settings.
by jimboxp - 4/18/08 5:42 PM In reply to: Intermittent loss of wireless connection by bripow14Go into the power settings on the device and make sure that the power settings are not turned on on the device. If they are on that might turn it off.
