I have a Toshiba Laptop with an Atheros AR5006EG wireless network adapter. When at home, I have intermittent connectivity loss to my wireless network. I always blamed the Linksys Router. Recently my wife started working from home and she never loses the connection with her laptop to our wireless network.
I now have AT&T wireless access through a network card for when I am not at home, and I lose connectivity about every 45 minutes or so with that as well. And it seems if I am connected to the web via a Wi-Fi network I lose connectivity occasionally as well.
I am thinking there is something going on with my computer causing this problem but have no idea where to start.
Please help !
Go into the power settings on the device and make sure that the power settings are not turned on on the device. If they are on that might turn it off.
