WoW!

Ok, maybe I'm way too much of a WoW obsessed geek, but I actually thought that that was pretty cool, especially the owl beast and spirit healer costumes.

Opie and Anthony...

by Slikkster - 4/11/08 10:39 AM In reply to: WOW fans sport costumes by polarfrz

I can't see that WoW acronym anywhere without associating it with the old Opie and Anthony Wednesday deal. Stupid visualizing! (said in Homer voice)

LMAO, I made the same association for a while. I suppose it could make the game a bit more exciting. :p

wowo woudl be a great game if

it did not REQUIRE guild play to do alot of the high lvl deals (sorry but i can't devote my time to be at certain places at certain times to do things)

it did not limit you to two skills per character, its just dumb, when you can make multiple characters to do things, its a way to make you waste time getting the combat lvls instead of focusing on the skills.

It did not require a high end system to run, I play another game thats java based and runs fine on most systems, (yes some people will consider Runescape silly and amaturish but it has 7.5% of the MMORPH market compared to the others which max out at 6.6 (wow gets like 62.2%)

I mostly agree

I completely agree with you on the higher level stuff. I like to solo and as my main increases in level (he's at 46 now) I'm starting to find less and less that I can do alone. It would be nice to be able to have more professions, although I usually just go with skinning and mining for the money. However, I must disagree about needing a high end PC. My last machine was a 3 year old Dell with a < 2 ghz P4 and only 1 gb of ram and it ran fine.

well

I can play Runescape on that machine and be crueising along just fine :)

Honestly, i would recomnd trying it(runescape), there are plenty of solo areas and those areas that do require having guilds/clans are not important...

:)
