it did not limit you to two skills per character, its just dumb, when you can make multiple characters to do things, its a way to make you waste time getting the combat lvls instead of focusing on the skills.
It did not require a high end system to run, I play another game thats java based and runs fine on most systems, (yes some people will consider Runescape silly and amaturish but it has 7.5% of the MMORPH market compared to the others which max out at 6.6 (wow gets like 62.2%)

I like to solo and as my main increases in level (he's at 46 now) I'm starting to find less and less that I can do alone. It would be nice to be able to have more professions, although I usually just go with skinning and mining for the money. However, I must disagree about needing a high end PC. My last machine was a 3 year old Dell with a < 2 ghz P4 and only 1 gb of ram and it ran fine.

Honestly, i would recomnd trying it(runescape), there are plenty of solo areas and those areas that do require having guilds/clans are not important...
