Using AVG antispy (ewido)

I downloaded it last night and I still had all the trial features when I come back on today they have gone and its only the normal free version.

can help you with that. The trial version is SUPPOSED to have all the features for 30 days.

Quote from their website

"After the installation, a free 30-day trial version containing all the extensions of the full version will be activated. At the end of the trial, these extensions will be deactivated and the program will turn into a feature-limited freeware version. The purchased license code can be entered at any time."

I have NO idea why they would only last a day in YOUR case. I would suggest that you post this question in their support forum at Wilders. The link is below.

I agree with Roddy on that but there may be another reason

Like is the date correct on your computer? If you had March 3rd when you installed and then corrected the date, your 30 days just expired.
It happened to me on three occassions but they were off by a year, so I was notified: "Your product has expired." These items were only a month old!! Somehow, the computer changed from 2008 to 2007, so they were correct but my computer was incorrect! Darrell
