It say I have a trojan downloader virus. and I need to buy there product to get rid of it. How can I fix this problem? It show it is in. c\windows\wml.exe. I tried to find the file in the system 32 tray, but couldn't find it. Can you help me out?

I'd Start With...

Either or both of the free spyware removal tools from the links below.. Download them, install them, update them, then restart your computer into Safe Mode.. Once in Safe Mode, run a full system scan with first one, then the other.. Delete anything they find.

Ewido/AVG Antispyware 7.5 Tool

SUPERAntispyware Removal Tool

The scans may take a while to perform but it should take care of the problem.

How To Start In 'Safe Mode'

Hope this helps.

I hate viruses, they are nasty and sometimes hard to get rid of! go into your windows search and type in wml.exe (be sure to click on "show hidden files" and search the entire drive, folders, etc. See if it finds anything...if it does right click and click "delete" if it gives you an error such as, "cannot delete program, already being used by another program or person" then I suggest you downloading "unlocker", you can find it here-http://www.download.com/Unlocker/3000-2248_4-10493998.html?tag=lst-1

Also this looks like it might be a rootkit...there are several FREE rootkit finders you can download, AVG, Panda, Trend micro, they work for one reason, destroying and removing rootkits. Also go to "start, run, type in "msconfig" and then click on "startup" see if WML.EXE is shown in the startup....if it is immediately disable it.

1. You don't have to buy anyone's software to get rid of a trojan downloader....I think those are by far the worst ones you can have.

Do you have an antivirus, firewall, or spyware software installed on your computer to prevent them from accessing your computer? If not I suggest you take advantage of Agnitum outpost firewall free, AVG free edition, spyware terminator, and lavasoft adaware. Those should also help to get rid of the trojan downloader.

By the way, i'm confused, "I deleted the program, but I still get a popup every once in a while." is it only displayed from your browser, your antivirus, or just randomly on your desktop? And what program did you delete that this "pop up" is giving you trouble?
