Now the quick launch buttons are on bottom and the current windows are on top. How do I get it back to where both are on the same bar?
Thanks,
Paul
Place the tip of the mouse pointer at the top edge of the Task bar until the pointer becomes a "I" then press and hold down the left mouse button and drag downward.
Charlie
Thanks, i tried that. the bar just disappears below the screen. There is no halfway!
Paul
Paul. If you haven't already done this, right click on an empty area on the Taskbar, left click on Properties and click on the Taskbar tab. Unselect "Lock the taskbar" then click Apply > OK. And try the first procedure again.
Or go to http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/taskbarplus!.htm and download and run Taskbar Repair Tool Plus!
Charlie
Thanks charlie! The task bar was unlocked already, but I locked it and then unlocked it. I grabbed those little dots and slid them along till every thing was on one line and then I was able to push the taskbar down till it was the regular size again. I then locked that sucker down! I don't want it to happen again!
Paul
Adding Quick Launch would always double size the taskbar. Followed your instructiions and now have full control of my taskbar.
