I purchased a Sony Alpha not too long ago, and recently my child was playing with it while I was at work. Well now the shutter speed is supper slow when not using the flash, meaning that without the flash I am losing all kinds of great pictures because it takes too long to capture.
I am sure it is just a setting in the camera, but I really need to know how to fix this before I give up. Any help would be great, thanks!
Check the User Manual and look for a camera reset command.
That will reset everything back to factory settings.

Just format the system it should be fine, if that doesn't work take it to a camera shop.
