I wanna connect my DS to the internet, but I have a secure password other than a WEP and since my dad runs the connection I don't wanna ask him to de-secure it. Is there any kind of super-cheap router (or alternative home connection method) I can find that will let me use a wireless connection?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_Wi-Fi_USB_Connector appears to be the answer but are tough to find.
Moving to WEP is never a good idea. It's dead as to security today. More at http://episteme.arstechnica.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/39309975/m/632008517731/inc/-1
I heard from CNET.com that those USB Dongles from Nintendo are pretty lame, at least as far as the Nintendo Wii goes. As for the DS, the forum link you sent me seemed to show that the DS connection is pretty solid. I'll give it a try. Thanks again.
