I tried googling it and didn't get any results. Anyone know what it is?

at Google. Unless someone else chimes in that has seen it before, I would suggest that you take the checkmark OUT and see if anything that you need stops working. You can always put it back later if need be.
Perhaps a real spy app

Some real spy apps (that log/copy/forward your email or keystrokes) at installation time assign random meaningless names, such as the one you mention, to their files. Maybe that is your case. Or maybe not. I would play it safe, if I were you.

For me, "playing it safe" means not doing anything about it. Though I suppose I could internal search it.
Why not running an on-line scan.....

Follow the prompts to scan your hard drive for viruses. Select the "Autoclean" option so that Housecall will remove any viruses from your system.
When the scan is finished, please restart your computer.

Remove any trojans found, and restart your computer.

I could not find the thing via Google and some AV programs I ran did not complain about it. I finally manually prevented it from starting and even re-named the executable. Then I pretty much forgot about it. 2 months later I did some more work on that same machine and noticed that his subscription to his AV software had run out. To tie him over, I downloaded AVG. When I had it scan the machine it had no problem digging up the re-named version of that suspicious program and identifying it as a trojan downloader.
