Anyone remember the Apple Newton?
by satoauto - 3/3/08 4:06 PMI still have a MessagePad 2000 and this article makes me want to dust it off and see if I can make it a good word processor when away from my computer.
Anyway, 10 years ago, Steve Jobs killed the Newton, here's the article:

I have the keyboard for the 2000 and it makes a perfect companion. I would be thrilled if they would develop a folding keyboard for the iPhone.

by enkerli - 3/3/08 5:38 PM In reply to: The 130 wasn't that bad, by satoautoNah, it wasn't bad. But it never had 'Net access (unlike the 2100 or upgraded 2000). I've been using lots of PDAs since then (mostly PalmOS) and haven't yet been able to afford one which could go online.
I now lust over iPod touches.
