RIAA classification

by fatbutch - 2/25/08 11:48 AM

How does the RIAA detirmine an illegal download? I know when I downloaded from p2p networks that I never uploaded a full file to anyone or recieved a full file from one direct person. How can it be illegal? Also, I know I always downloaded .rar,.zip, and .ace files for my music that way it would be harder to track. What is considered an illegal upload and download?

Some try to skirt the rules.

It's this simple. If you end up with copyrighted or such material and didn't buy it, you know you are in trouble.

Are you trying to say that if you break up the song in 10 parts from 10 people that it's OK?
