by briceone - 2/9/08 2:18 AM

Hi
I need an answer to the following. With Virtual page still with plenty of space and ram is only 30 to 40 % used. I get continuous small windows at bottom right of the screen stating (Out of resources) & (drawing canvas not allowed) accompanied with 'bump' sound. I can only remove by rebooting. Hard to say

by Jimmy Greystone - 2/9/08 7:42 AM In reply to: 'Out of resources" by briceone

Hard to say for sure given you decided to ignore the red text above every message that says:

Note: If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.

I do get a red graph line that says with varying %s of 42 to 77%!
I am running XP Home which is fully up to date with SP2 and all reative auto hot fixes etc. I have Nividia G800 with 128 mem. ram at 512. DSL at 1024. generally it runs fine apart from the anoyances of as explained in the first post.

I don't think it's a XP problem, frankly speaking.

Anyway, a search for the two messages you give on google via http://www.google.nl/search?q=%22out+of+resources%22+%22drawing+canvas+not+allowed%22 only return your post, so I'm afraid your messages aren't the exact ones that are given. No help possible then.

You mentioned the OS now but ...

the rest of the red text shouldn't be ignored, especially the part that says and any other specifics related to the problem.

When do you get the error, every time you touch the mouse, every time you touch the keyboard, every time you start a specific program or open a specific file?

What are you NOT DOING when it is "running fine"?

You've got to help us help you (and we are not dentists).
