Here's a great place to give feedback, hash out ideas, find out what others think, and dig deeper into the topics discussed on the Real Deal podcast.
First post and happy there is a forum for the topics.
Will defiatly book mark this.
Went looking for show notes for latest on SATA drives. Could not find them. Searched forum and find, in most cazes the shown notes posted in the "Real Deal ## - title" topics.
Is this the standard?
Am I just a bit fast of the mark looking for the notes to soon after the podcast episode has been published?
What about an RSS feed similar to BOL for the notes?
Long time listener, first time suggester...
I would like to learn how to handle the power supplies that come with various electronic devices.
This includes
... the symbols on the plug
... are they interchangeable?
... the rhyme and reason of the 'metal' end sizes
... proper disposal
... does age matter?
Specific questions....
I still have power suppliee that came from long ago disposed of calculators from the 70's. Is there a possible reuse?
Thanks

In one of the recent shows they discussed a number o f search sites for specialty searches. I was in my car and couldn't write them down. Does anyone know where to find the list/show notes? I don't want to listen to the whole show again. VG
Gents,
Almost two years ago you started "The Real Deal" series with instructions on how to start a podcast. After two years of new technology, new servers, and your experience would you consider revisiting that topic? The college where I work is beginning to promote podcasting to the faculty and I wonder if you have any tips or techniques to consider when a novice wants to start a podcast.
Thanks
John Coliton
I'm usually OK with internet searching but I have been trying for the last 15 minutes to track down the show notes from the last Real Deal
can you point me in the right direction?
thanks
Does anyone know where I can buy quantities for IT components?
Now that Rafe has an iPhone, I am certain that he is experiencing the difficulties of moving Contact and Calendar between applications; especially if one does not use Outlook. There is an application for the iPhone, SyncInABlink, that does a great job of syncing Google Contacts with the iPhone, but not the Calendar.
Having a "10,000 feet" overview of the current status of sharing the two important apps would be a great contribution.
