I understand there may be sites where I can calculate an estimated MP3 file size based on bit rate and sampling rate.
Can anyone direct me to this information?

You know..I think this would make a nice classroom project. I bet one can do some experiment to gain some insight into this and then be able to come up with a formula for it. Just thinking out loud.
