Admin Text Entering Problem (technical)

by The_Jerrymobile - 1/31/08 4:48 PM

Running 64-bit windows Vista home premium OEM version, 2Gb memory, Quad-core CPU.

When logged on as an administrator, when the keyboard is used in any field of any program, the program immediately freezes. This includes Windows Explorer.

The problem is not hardware related, as different keyboards have been used with this system (the virtual keyboard included) and the same result was found. This is a problem.

This means you got this machine from "someone" and that's where you go back to. You need to exercise your warranty since you have a repeatable bug and produce it on demand. Don't call Microsoft since it's an OEM copy and they'll blow you off.
