Hello all!!
1st, thanks to Molly, Tom, Bryan, Dan and everybody else on CNET for making our days better with everything you do. I'm Molly's Biggest Fan in Puerto Rico! ![]()
So, in regards to the question about how OEMs get Windows in their machines.. . it's by image CDs or drives. They get one machine ready, and since they basically build many machines with the same hardware, they just replicate the image of one Hard Drive to all of the machines with similar configurations.
Sadly, I'm at work and I am required to do some out of the office tasks at the moment.... but there is a bit more to it that someone else should be able to answer.
Thanks again for the great content you're giving us!
Regards,
Regulluz
