by JonP07 - 1/23/08 8:53 PMIs it possible to upgrade the hard drive in the Archos MP3 players to a larger one? The largest HDD available is 160GB, I would like to double that size on the 605 WiFi model.

by TMT904 - 1/29/08 8:26 AM In reply to: Upgrade HDD in Archos MP3 players by JonP07Yes, you can try to upgrade the HD to something larger but that WILL negate your warranty so tread carefully and I only recommend you do this if you have experience. An easier option is to just by a portable 250gb HD that is really small. You can watch/listen to videos/music directly from it via your Archos 605. I have a 1TB external HD that I travel with that has hundreds of videos on it to pick from...as a matter of fact, it is my entire DVD movie collection. I keep adding more and more to as I rent them.
