1. Why would I care about Macworld when I use a PC and would never own an iPod.
2. Why would I listen to a podcast that speculates about an event that's going to happen in a few hours?
1. So you know what's in the future for PC's with next version of windows
I kid I kid....
2. To see if they get it right
To be honest you are right, with Apple being a key competitor for Microsoft they are both likely to steal ideas from each other.
I mean look at Time Capsule, it looks like they may well have taken a page out of Microsofts WHS book, not to say that MS has not stolen a whole bunch of things from Apple
I don't currently own a mac, although I have been tempted by a Macbook for a while. This does not stop me from being interested in what is going on, just as I would be interested in the latest camera that takes bajillion pixels images even though I don't own one.
I am, and I think many other listeners are. I assume you don't own an iPhone, so I'm sorry you had to endure the hoopla/hype several months ago.
Best,
Shalin

To protect yourself and stay informed about the robots who may inevitably revolt against us and take over the earth.
So why do we care that you have a PC and don't have an iPod and aren't interested in Macworld? Why are you telling us this? Do you make it a point to let everyone know when there's a story you aren't interested in? It must really slow down your news reading!
1. Maybe you just like technology and are curious.
2. It came out a full day before the keynote.
MacWorld is at least a platform. If it helps get that platform so I can compete with PC. Great. As for MacWorld and Apple...I have slightly more interest in that than I would Gateway World and Less than I would for Linux world.
