Web Site creation

Hello everyone, I am wanting to start and build my first website online. I have noticed that their is a ton of software suites from Dreamweaver to whatever. I have no clue what to get and notice that nothing out their is 100% perfect,but looking for something I will not have to do to much coding, maybe do some simple layouts, post pics and occasional video. Any recommendations?

I'd not spend money on this. There are free tools and tutorials over at http://www.w3c.org and then we have The GIMP, Open Office and more freebies.

See how far you go with that first.
