I almost can't believe it. When Sony announced that stupid retail card plan earlier this week I thought for sure it was just one more way they were going to hold out from doing the right thing and making their music available where people want it - from a real music seller.
But thankfully I was wrong.

Good on ya, Sony. Now it's time for all of us music fans to put our money where our mouthes have been. We've all said that if mp3s were available we'd buy. I am. Please join me.
I have already been buying from Amazon. They're great. I'm also working to convince my family to buy from there instead on iTunes. Not only are they DRM Free, but they sound better and have lower prices.
I need a new MP3 player to take with me to the gym, and now that they have all this DRM-free music at Amazon, I will probably buy something other than an iPod.
I've been buying quite a bit from there lately. Love them. It's easy, fast, and I know I'll always be able to play it on whatever player I have.
Good on Sony for catching that idiotic mistake having buy the CD then be able to download the songs Yep good on them.
