I predict your predictions are a bit wide of the mark:-)
Yet another prediction, this one specifically geared towards the top of the line, always cutting edge ALIENWARE laptop.
Alienwares 17 inch laptops will see the following specs by years end...
Intel Penryn based processors 3.0GHz+
4GB Dual Channel DDR2 RAM @ 1333MHz
Dual 512MB NVIDIA® GeForce™ 8800M GTX - SLI Enabled
Dual 128GB Solid State Drives
6X Blu-ray/HD-DVD Multidrive
Alienware rocks!!!
And Microsoft will come up with an operating system to make sure that it chugs along like a Z80 @ 1 Mhz
My predictions are:
Apple will introduce a laptop sans hard-disc but with a flash-drive and upgrade iPod Touch and iPhone firmware to view flash enabled content.
HD-DVD players will drop below $150 and Blu-Ray players will have dropped below $250, but Blu-Ray players/movies will still sell more than HD-DVD.
iTunes will start sellling 720p TV shows in summer and movies in fall.
The first wirelessly powered devices will show up around september, and the first 3D tvs will be sold around the same time.
well, i belive in 2008, we'll develop flying cars, lol, but seriously, to start in the gaming industry the PS3 will reign victorious, Xbox may have had a head start but you cant deny awesome design, great formatting and interfaces, and incredible graphics. and loads of other stuff for alittle but high price, but bigger the bang for your buck. Next i see a new era of latops with close to but not quite upgrade capabilities as a desktop. sleeker, sexier, lighter and more upgradable. and just some other thoughts is that i think Google or Apple, will eventually buy out either yahoo or microsoft, or some big wig company, thats just underneither them. but in the end google will probably take over the world in 2008.
Sorry, but I have to give myself props here.
don't think i did that bad myself ![]()
