Voice to midi to instruments
by callie2504 - 1/6/08 7:55 PMIs there anything that you can buy that is affordable or even available that a singer/songwriter can use with windows Xp or as a stand alone device to sing into that will produce musical accompaniment? I can write the songs, and have the tune and can sing them, but I am not a instrumental person?

Try some kind of drum machine on a synth, maybe?

I have not tried it yet but i believe you can sing into a mic and it will print out the music which you can asign an instrument. Talk to some one at a music store that sells software.
