by tuteemunger - 1/4/08 11:07 PMi just wanted to know if the Zune 80gb is actually as chunky as it looks. Also i wanted to know if it is awkward to hold, by that i mean is it to big and fat.

The Zune looks chunkier in pictures than it really is; to me anyway.
I guess you could stack 7 quarters and get feel of the thickness and
as for the length it is just under 1 1/3 of a credit card and width
is about 1 1/6 of a card.
I have had mine since X-mas and I'm very happy with it. I don't fine it hard to hold or awkward. The large screen is a plus it looks great.
You could also go to you neighborhood Radio Shack and as them to let you hold one in your hand; the Sales person let hold one; at the time I was just looking thank goodness my wife got me mine

thanks for the comparisons i now have somewhat of an idea of how big it is.

It is no to thick to where you feel like you are carrying around a brick. And it is not to thin to where if you drop it will break...unlike ipod's! Plus the zune 80 gb weighs 4.5 ounces and the ipod classic 80 gb weighs 4.9 ounces! So it weighs less!
