Denon 3808CI

by MattyFechten - 1/1/08 10:11 PM

All

I want to get this receiver for my home theater. Have any of you used this receiver utilizing the USB port with an external HD which stores your digital music?

I want to digitize my CDs on my Westen Digital HD and plug it in to the receiver and listen away.

Does this work? Have you done it? What are your experiences?

Denon 3808CI vs. Onkyo TX-SR875

Thanks for the lead on that site. There is certainly a ton of input there--which leads me to my next question. Denon 3808 or Onkyo TX-SR875?!

Looks like it comes down to the chip. I'm off the External HD kick cause I can simply throw the iPod on and KISS (keep it simple stupid).

Now, it seems like HQV is some stuff for serious consideration.

What do you like?
