Where does Windows saves temporary program files?

by calande - 12/28/07 9:08 AM

Hello,

I am installing Microsoft .NET Framework, and during installation, it downloads a 63MB program file then executes it.

I am on a dialup connection and I have to install this application on several computers. I'd like to know where the installer is saved, probably in a temporary directory, I'd like to copy it and save it on a USB flash drive to copy it on the other computers to save me the hassle of having to download it again, on my slow Internet connection.

Do you know where Windows saves this file?
Thanks.

Tip. Go get the redistributable version.

Sorry there are 3 versions of this. You didn't share which one but now you know what to look for.
