I'll be buying mine Acronis True Image 11 Home. See link:

Is that the wife doesn't roll her eyes when a package is delivered, and that package is obviously computer "stuff". And that she does not say, "You don't need to build another computer!".
Wonder who started that myth? Mine sews, usually the packages are hers. Have you heard CompUSA is out of business..."everything must go" is the rumor. Could be some really big saving as they liquidate. My best wishes to there employees for them this has to be rough. Why does this sort of thing always happen around Christmas?
The store close to me closed about a year ago and I got a Linksys wireless router for 20 bucks, and three wireless NICs for 5 bucks each. I'll have to look for others in the DFW area.
About ten or so years ago Lowe's closed their doors and fired everyone on Christmas eve. They reopened under new organization shortly after that. Christmas eve really sucks. I haven't been inside a Lowe's since then.
I have that same problem with wife's rolling eyes
and gotta admit it bugs me.
Have you found a cure?
LOL
Say it with flowers is a Big Myth,,,As the flowers wilt so do the memories of why the flower was purchased in the first place(to put the rolling eyes in a holding pattern). I have found that earings,,rings (one small diamond ring lasted almost 3 mo.) and even a trip to the Outback has a much more dramatic effect.
I am in NO way saying I have the woman thingie figured out (i'm 61 & still in training) but I have had some great results with the afore-mentioned approach.....LOL......The disclaimer is that results may vary based on individuals wallet and frequency of package arrivals!
Best xmas present you can get it.It can save you a lot of grief.
Used it for 2 yrs.and do a full disk image backup once a week
if computer running the way it should after doing all virus and
spyware scans and cleanup etc.If not satisfied with results
or computer running slower then usual will restore image to previous week.
Any important data is backed up at the end of every day so
the most i can lose by doing a restore is programs installed
for that 1 week.
Sure beats doing a format and having to recover 2 yrs work.
..a graphics tablet. I have wanted one for some time to do sketching and handwritten notes. The one I bought is an AIPTEK USB Slim 12.1. It works great and I am (er...my computer is) having fun with it!
Actually I just bought three new presents for my Mac recording studio set-up. Apple Logic Studio just arrived today. Haven't had time to install yet but guess what I'll be doing this Sunday? (BTW - my wife thinks I'm nuts to buy this new DAW program, that's why I ordered it first). I also bought the PreSonus Faderport controller and another set of headphones, Sennheiser HD 280 Pro. I've got several other sets of cans (headphones) for monitoring etc., but I needed a closed back set of cans for recording vocal tracks without bleeding of sounds from the tracks I am monitoring. Now I really have a professional recording studio. As a singer-songwriter I plan to give it quite a workout. I also do recording and engineering for other musicians and I can't wait to surprise them with Apple Logic rather than Digital Performer.
Hmm - wonder what is next on the list?
Need to boost my memory ram on my computor so i decided my christmas preasent would be more memory ram 1GB as i have only 256 mb of memory on my computor xp since 2002
I'll be loading it in just a few minutes. ![]()
After loading Acronis I had a total system failure and had to reboot both hard drives.
the best way to use Acronis is to make your image after you have just installed the system. Makes it easier if you have to go back.
