Hey, all - just got my A3 last week and am looking forward to getting it all hooked up. I'm using a Panasonic 720p plasma and a Denon AVR-1908 receiver. I've read a few posts in a couple of different forums insisting that the HD-DVD picture looks better over component video cables than HDMI. Any thoughts?
I cannot, for all my knowledge or research, think of one good reason why that would be true, but I just thought I'd ask. Thanks for any input!

HDMI by makers has been certainly spotty. A couple of good sites have done comparisons of common equipment with both HDMI vs. component connections & component has produced better results over 50% of the time in both tests.
So, I strongly advice to get a set of both kind of connectors from a local place with liberal return policy because you are going compare for yourself to see which way is better under your circumstances.
