I bought a nintendo wii, and it is a great console. But I want to run it in 480p. I only have a CRT, but it is a newish sony. I think it can run 480p because my DVD player is hooked up via the six component cables. But on my TV there are only scart inputs.
My Wii is hooked up through a supplied component to scart adaptor, which takes the yellow red and white component cables, but not the other three blue green and red ones.
I can hook up my DVD player, because I have a cable with scart on one end and the six component plugs on the other. They go into the six component holes on my DVD player.
So I can't hook up my Wii for 480p, because the 480p cable has component plugs on the end, like my scart to component cable that I use for my DVD player. So I need some kind of adaptor to get it to work.
PLease help, sorry if its confusing, I have tried to explain it as best as I can
=)
