Sandisk MP3 wont synch with Media Player

by jsmooy - 12/6/07 6:23 AM

Help please. I'm a novice user of MP3 players. I just bought a Sandisk Clip MP3 player. I have several self-mixed "albums" from many different artists in self-named folders on my laptop hardrive. These would be my version of a playlist.

Using Drag and Drop - I attempted to move the folders from the hard drive to the Sandisk Clip player. The music is now jumbled up and listed singly by artist instead of in the "album folder" that I created.

I attempted to create a playlist in Windows Media Player then synch it to the Sandisk. I continue to get errors that the WMP could not synch with the Sandisk Clip. I'm using Version 10 of WMP which according to Sandisk's Tech Support FAQ is ok for synching. They dont seem to know what the problem is.
Can anyone help me with a workaround to this problem before I return the MP3. Big thank you, Jo

Try downloading WMP 11 and use that. It's a lot easier for syncing with mp3 players.
