But I think the Sony is a great choice. Go for it. Other than Sony all I can really come up with is any Cowon (great sound quality). The new Creative Zen is meh. I saw one in person and I'm impressed by the size, but the plastic fells cheap (especially compared with the Sony's, which I've seen in person also. I loved it) I don't know about the Zune 4gig.
