Any recent news about Slacker.com internet radio player??

and I've read the reports of a wi-fi radio player coming out. However, most of the articles I've read about it are old news from March or May. Has there been any progress on this wi-fi device? Their online store is "coming soon" on their site so I'm curious to know if they've run into problems? anybody know? thanks in advance!

...but I wanted to reply anyway. 
I'm in contact with the rep for Slacker and the only news I've gotten from them lately is small tidbits about widgets for MySpace and the like. That is, they are continually upgrading the Web player, but have been rather mum about the actual portable device. I was expecting something in August, but that month has come and gone with nothing, so my next guestimate is October. Stay tuned! I'll post something on Crave as soon as I get anything concrete.

yeah hopefully we hear something from them soon! I'm skeptical of their little device because the side buttons look kinda unintuitive but who knows how it'll turn out! I hope it's as good as the website itself! keep us informed thanks for the response

The Slacker "commercials" will be limited to visual ads, meaning they won't actually interupt music playback at all.

I already have my pre-order in with 2 day fedex shipping. BTW I ordered the 2GB. Also for more news and information you might check out Slacker Social @ http://www.slackersocial.com there isn't a whole lot of members but i'm sure that will pick up.
