I use a combination of the infoRSS firefox plugin and Google Reader.
InfoRSS scrolls headlines in the bottom status bar so I can sort of spy headlines for a few main feeds.
Then I use Google Reader to display headlines in chronological order from all my tech feeds for perusing for BOL.

The RSS reader I use is one branded for CNN International, lol! Add custom RSS feeds in mix with what CNNi gives, and it does it for me.
I have to say, before IE7 came out I used firefox all the time, but I have found IE7 to be great for RSS feeds so have stuck with it.
and love it. I don't have install privileges at work, so I need something web based, and I don't like the look of Google Reader.
I monitor a few hundred feeds for both personal and professional information; I use multiple computers so I need a Web-based reader. I like the look of Netvibes and the option to divide my feeds among as many tabs as I want so I don't get overwhelmed by the volume of information on the screen (and so I don't get caught up in personal blog feeds when I should be looking at the work-related ones).
I use Feedreader. It's a great desktop app that is very easy to use.

I'm looking into making some RSS changes as well, mostly on my home page. For me my home page is my news site. I'd like to do this on my desk top but RSSs to it aren't of good quality, too many glitches. Currently I'd like to add some local news and do some work on my technology RSSs. I have an entire second home page for technology but most aren't worth the space they use up. I'd like to spice my home page up with some new interest areas as well. I especially like video RSSs that are top quality.
What is your favorite RSS feed?
Mine would be, Yahoo, personal assistant-Video. (When it works.)

A description of how Jason organizes his RSS feeds. Thought it was neat to compare, 'cause I do it by subject rather than some other way.

I use Sage for Firefox. Simple and easy to use. I can add RSS feeds as easily as adding bookmarks. I can also change the layout of the feed by manipulating a CSS file. Recommended for Firefox users and RSS lovers.
I would recommend SharpReader (http://www.sharpreader.net/) - I've been using it for years and never had any problems with it.
It's free and easy to use with excellent support for keyboard only operations - I simply cannot find another RSS reader that uses the keyboard so well).
The only requirement is that you have .NET framework installed.
