Pop, IMAP, WebMail, Clients, what's it all mean?
And how do you use email these days anyway? What's it for?
I don't spam, but I belong to numerous community organizations and I do need to send an email or 2 to hundreds of users at one time. Thunderbird and Zone Alarm are not very happy with me when I do this, not to mention the TO: field being a full page long.
Is there some way, simple programming or free software, that will allow me to do this without suffering the rath of my protection software or email client? Web-based would even work along as I can import an address book.
Thanks folks!
Jim Cronin
You might want to look into an open source LISTSERV application like Majordomo or Blackboard. Whichever you choose, I'm reasonably sure you can import your contacts list so you don't have to start from scratch.
