I have bought a new Lenovo Thinkpad X61 laptop. I got it personalized with windos XP proffesional. But I did not get the OS CDs.
So how can I get this are make it for my back up.
I also want to know how to get the boot discs.
If any of you guys know about this. Please reply.
Thank you.
Sri.
any documentation with it? Have you been to the IBM support web site?
Goto the thinkvantage suite which you should have installed on your computer. If you don't have it installed go to Lenovo.com and download the compatible version for your x60. In the suite go to I think "backup for system restore" or something like that. There it will burn xp and the programs that come bundled on the system. It takes about 5-6 cds if I remember correctly. Good luck.
