Any interest in having "chapters" in the podcasts?...

I have no idea how to do it or how easy it would be or how much time it would take. However, if anyone can do it, Jason can! (hint hint)

Chapters aren't possible in MP3 files.
M4A, yes... but the MP3 file format is much more compatible with the majority of players out there (actually, I bet you'd be hard pressed to find any players these day that don't support MP3... unless they want to die a quick and painful death)

Many players these days are actually supporting AAC...
And AAC will give chapters, pictures (see what they're talking about), and links you can click on in itunes (who needs show notes when you have links embedded in the audio file).
Ever thought about it maybe being worthwhile to make the itunes stream m4a and put mp3 on cnet site? 
Oh god I put the AACs in the MP3 folder.

Not to mention, listening through the podcast to find changes in topic, inserting the bookmark cues, selecting pictures to place within the AAC container, and also storing and creating entries for two instances of, basically, the same podcast.
All that stuff is terribly time consuming. I'm pretty sure that Jason, Molly and Tom all have other duties and responsibilities at CNET.

I used to occasionally get an "enhanced" podcast (Ricky Gervais, Engadget) which had chapters in it for each story. I always assumed it was just MP3, but maybe it was mp4 and I was blissfully ignorant (listening on an iPod).
