imited internet connection after Vista repair.

Hello,
I was partitioning my drive awhile ago (specifically using Paragon partitions) and it specifically makes you restart your computer.( so that your hard drive is off so it can partition.) While it was doing this i thought it was frozen or just moving slower than usual , so being the intelligent human being i am, stopped this. This made it that i couldn't start up vista normally ( it would start in safe mode) . In safe mode most everything worked albeit the paragon program and i think Firefox, however the internet still worked (using IE7). Luckily i had my install disc for vista and just repaired it and was on my way. Everything worked, no more corrupted files (other than the still not functioning paragon) however now my internet now did not work. It connects to my wireless network but has the dreadful 'limited connection'. In the connection properties (or something of that nature) it displays the fact that the ipv4 connection is local but the ipv6 is limited. I looked at the forum describing how often the ipv6 can conflict with older modems but mine worked previously and it's a relatively new router ( Linksys WRT54GS) so o am at a loss. Using the powerful forum i discovered that you can sometimes just disable IP6 connectivity to solve this but it only succeeded in making the connection a "limited connection". I gave tried adding myself back on my mac address list ( no i don't use encryption, just a mac address filter) aswell as a number of other methods.
Three other laptops in my house STILL work on this wireless network, one identical computer, and a desktop (although none others with the dreaded vista), so i know it must be specific to my computer. Help is much appreciated, sorry for how long winded and grammatically incorrect my explanation was. confused.gif
