Hi All,
Does anyone have any experience with the Scosche - Bluetooth Car Kit? I have only recently seen it in stores. I checked the BestBuy website today and they are sold out. The Scosche - Bluetooth Car Kit is the most expensive car kit out there for the IPod, but i have not seen any user reviews for it yet. Is it really worth the cost?
I use the Scosche Bluetooth Car Kit (BT33A1-candy bar style) with my Apple IPhone-It works fine and the Speaker is loud and clear.
Here is the steps to pair the IPhone and the Car kit.
1)Make sure you charge the Bluetooth Kit for 3hrs Complete Charge!
2)Turn on the BT33 with the MFB - Hold the button down until the lights blink blue and red.
3)Turn on IPhone/Settings/General/Bluetooth--Turn on Bluetooth!
4)The Iphone will find the BT33--Tap the screen and you will be asked for Pin #-Put in 0000 press enter then press connect -- upper right corner of this screen. This will "Pair" the devices.
5)Have someone call you-The IPhone screen will show audio options
Tap the BT33 selection.
6)When you get a call both the BT33 and the Iphone will "ring" Tap the MFB to answer call on the BT33-You can put the Iphone on silent/vibrate if you don't want to hear both devices ringing.
7)A feature I use all the time is to Turn off the BT33 when I'm not in the Car-simply push the MFB and Hold down for 3 secs-you will hear a beep and the red light will come on for a second--this shuts off the BT33--To turn back ON--Hold down the MFB for 3 sec until the beep and the Blue light comes back on--A blinking Blue light signals the Bluetooth is Working and Back ON. This is handy because you do not lose "Pairing" with the IPhone.
Hope this Helps -- The Scosche Bluetooth Car Kit WORKS as Advertized!
