Windows XP Removed my main Admin account.

by bigtiger4x4 - 11/10/07 12:50 PM

Hi, My Windows XP x64 just removed my main Admin account. On my other post, I was talking about some dial log box was coming up, and I made another account, then when I was gonna restart, I logged out, and when It came to the start up screen, the main account was gone. I was able to get most of the files from that account by going to My Computer --> My Hard Drive -> Documents and Settings, and Administrator. But I cant get in My Documents, I have lots of important files I need. Does anyone know how I can get it back?

that you keep raising new discussions. It's not clear whether we have finished helping you in your first discussion about the message window that pops up. I fear this new problem is related, but because there are now 3 discussions, I can't follow what is happening, what has been advised, or attempted, or whatever.

About your Documents and Settings folders. You may need to Take Ownership. Read the following;

I'd learn about taking ownership and more.

For instance, EXPLORER is not a great file browser. It adds and hides things.

As to your OS, it's a demo copy and XP64 so I expect you to have many troubles without any fix or recourse.

It's only a demo so I strongly suggest you never count on it.
