but a full charge from a drained battery over USB is pretty slow, I think it was about 7 hrs. If you have an accessory to use a wall outlet (whether directly or from a DVR attachment or similar) it takes around 3-4hrs from drained
iPods are much quicker in charging,

. Charging over USB is never as good as direct wall outlets. As a many gadget owner and operator, I can say get an adapter.

Supposing it works right now, maybe your outlet is defective

Similar I guess. Maybe your breaker or something flipped a switch or you need to check your wiring for that particular socket.
