I've been told this can't be done....anyone up to the challenge?
My son has a Samsung A640 phone. We've recently changed phones and carriers and he is having a meltdown because I want to sell the Samsung phone and he has pictures he wants to keep but can't retreive. Is there anyway to get these pics off his phone??
Help a mom look like a super-hero.
Thanks in advance!
I looked it up on ask.com and there are places that sell Samsung syncing software with a usb cord. I'd give you the site names, but that's against the rules here.
to Bluetooth the pictures from the Samsung phone to the new phone, if the new phone has Bluetooth capabilities.
Or
Bluetooth the pictures from the Samsung phone to someone that has Bluetooth capabilities, then picture message the pictures to the new phone, remember standard picture messaging charges will apply.

Samsung offers a free download of a product called PC Studio 3.1, that you can use for this. It's on http://fun.samsungmobileusa.com/pcstudio/general_feature.htm
It doesn't list the A640 as compatible. I've used an older version to transfer pictures from my daughters D600 via IR to a PC. So it might be worth a try.
Hope this helps.

I do this all the time.

There are two ways to address the picture message.
You type it in with the format "abc" and by using the "symbols" for the @.
You go into your Contacts and store their email addresses for senders you most use. There is usually a storage place for the emails just like their telephone is stored. I have one that only stores my email address. Who wants to type it every single time?
After I pick my pic, I either use my contacts list or type it in. Then click send.
Also, your user guides that come with your phones will tell you how ![]()
God bless!
but they no longer have service on that phone, according to their post.
