Windows Vista: defragment tool vista home premium
defragment tool vista home premium

any time i click to defrag the computer
it goes to analyze,the message says your
file system performance is good,you do not
need to defragment at this time.
Can this be possible after 8 months of use?

The drive is defragmented by the defragger in the background only when required, and automatically too! Quite convenient.

I'd suggest every 30 hours of use for a defragmentation. Good maintenance means good smooth computer operation, some disagree.(This thread is not tracked)

This tends to show that windows could be better.

I do this alot,and sometimes I can get around 512 megs to 10 gigs to be fragmented.Saying it doesn't need a defragment has to mean that it is doing it in the background,furthuring your slowdown of system resources.
