Innoteks VirtualBox 1.5. It has improved since it's earlier releases It's Open Source for Linux. I am running a VirtualBox of Fedora Core 7 on Windows XP But from what I've read there are Linux Packages of VirtualBox in most distros repositories.
qemu, qemu-kqemu, virtualbox(based upon qemyu.
enable wine with qemu exe handler in the services
WMware is the standard and there are others. Microsoft has VirtualPC, but that runs under windows. BOCHS and QEMS are both virtual machines, but may not be download and install packages.
What may be right for you or will be the best choice i cannot say. Myself i will be looking at both BOCHS and QEMS and try it out on different machines to see what works best for me.
I have used Virtual PC under windows and it works well.
